

LaVonne was born in Martin, Michigan to Harold and Isoline Lober on October 29, 1938. She was the youngest of 10 children. She went on to marry Charles Barnum in 1965 and the couple spent many wonderful years together until his passing in 2009. She was a homebody, but enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, camping, traveling, researching genealogy, and watching the birds and other various wildlife outside her home. She was a loving and caring woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
LaVonne was preceded in death by: husband, Charles Edwin Barnum; parents, Harold and Isoline Lober; and siblings, Raymond, Helen, Floyd, Anna Louise, Betty Jean, Pauline, Nina, Lloyd, and Harold Jr.
LaVonne is survived by: children, Boyd Barnum and Debra Barnum; granddaughter, Kelsey Kelly (Barnum); great granddaughter, McKenna Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.
A private interment will take place at Findlay Cemetery in Ada, Michigan. There are no public services scheduled at this time.
