Michael M. DeBack aged 62, of Grand Rapids passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia DeBack. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his daughters; Wendy (Steven) Nash, Heather (Tom) Howe, Patricia (Ray) Valliere, 4 grandchildren; Shawnna Verdier, Robert Verdier, Christopher Valliere, Abby Valliere, brother John DeBack, sisters, Sandra Brown, Brenda (Terry) Sawyer, and several nieces and nephews. Michael served as a Grand Rapids firefighter for over 25 years before retiring as a Lieutenant. He loved to hunt, fish and doing his art work. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet his family on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. For those who wish, memorials can be made to Hospice of Michigan or American Cancer Society for cancer research.
