Nelson was a 1992 graduate of Northview High School. He went on to work in telecommunications as a fiber splicer. He loved to play golf and was a big fan of Michigan State University Football. Nelson was very social and always the life of the party. Nelson made friends wherever he went and could talk to anyone. He was also a dedicated father to his daughter, Sophia. His fun-loving attitude and kind spirit will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Ruth Martin.
Nelson is survived by: daughter, Sophia Bess; wife, Lisa Bess; mother, Ann Bess; as well as, many other extended family members and special friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Funeral Service will begin at 7:00pm, with Glenn Aittama officiating, also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nelson's memory may be made to Humane Society of West Michigan.
