Robert Earl McCarty

Robert E. McCarty Sr., age 74, passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer while at home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel and Elsie McCarty; and grandson Calvin McCarty. He will be deeply missed by his wife Judith McCarty of 55 years; children Robert (Sarah) McCarty, Mark (Audrey) McCarty, Beverly (Bill Bartolini) Rahn, Kelly (Rob) Rozeboom; grand children Amiee (Jeff) Sima, Matt McCarty, Stacy O’Hearn, Jaason (Sarah) Rahn, Brandon Rahn, and Amanda (Danny) Fletcher; and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Paul (Pat) McCarty, Nate (Sara) McCarty, Sister Jan (Jerry) Wallace; sister-in-laws Ella (Robert) Hiscock, Barbara Cheever, Nancy Zemaitis, and Betty Banks. The Family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Michigan for their outstanding care. The family will be greeting relatives and friends at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Friday March 15, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday March 16, 2013 at Reyers North Valley Chapel directly following a visitation from 12-1pm.
