Robert Dale Monroe, aged 85, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, and one step-daughter. Surviving are his seven children, six step-children, and many grandchildren and friends. Robert proudly served his country with The United States Army as a medic. He was employed by Williams Form Engineering before retirement, and will be remembered for his love of both hunting and fishing. He was a great dad and grandfather and will be truly missed. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm and on Friday one hour prior to the service from 12-1 pm. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Fairplains Cemetery under the auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
