Robert Mark Stebbins

Robert was born on December 29, 1963 to Robert L. and Donna Wolfe Stebbins in Grand Rapids. He graduated from Wyoming Park School in 1982. Following that he served in the US Army. He was self-employed as a builder for many years. He loved to work with his hands and in the words of his family he could “fix anything,” as he did plenty of repairs himself around the house.

He loved fishing and camping and boating. He loved nature and being outdoors. In his spare time he also enjoyed golfing and was a big NASCAR fan. He had a very unique sense of humor and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Robert is survived by his daughter Alyssa (Devin) Kyllonen; son-in-law Kory Anderson; mother Donna Helms; Sisters Cindy Stebbins and Cheryl Parish; grandkids Brycen, Caden, and Ember Ashley; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert and his daughter Ashley Lyn Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Street NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 1-2pm at the funeral home. The family requests that attendees dress casually. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s name may be made to Guiding Light, 255 Division Ave S, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. A private burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens in Grandville at a later date.
