Ronald Allen Smith

Ron is predeceased by his mother, Mary Smith, Grandparents, Clara and Mayberry Bell, Preston and Bessie Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kerri, their sons, Dakota and Derek , his father Rodger Smith,and his brother Daniel (Marcia) Smith.

Ron was a diehard Chicago Blackhawks fan. His love for the Blackhawks truly connected his love for hockey. Ron was involved in the game at every level, he played himself and coached his sons teams, he served as a scorekeeper for years and he was a regular Grand Rapids Griffins season ticket holder. Besides the ice rink Ron could be found enjoying the great outdoors camping with his family, mountain biking, grilling or at a Mopar Car Show. Ron will be missed by many.

A visitation for Ron will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. A burial will occur Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 2188 Remembrance Dr, Muskegon, MI 49442.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ronald's sons. Checks payable to Derek Smith and Dakota Smith, in care of Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids MI 49505.
