Sandra Anne McKellar

On August 1, 1959, Sandy was united in marriage to, Robert McKellar, Sr. A devoted wife, and loving mother; she worked hard to create a loving home. She was proud of her family and never failed to tell everyone that she had the best kids.

Sandy was quiet and liked to be home, and thus enjoyed the simple things in life, such as people watching, knowing her neighbors and watching game shows. When she needed to stretch her wings, Sandy did look forward to the adventures that took place during the family trips up north.

On March 15, 2004, Sandy’s life was altered when her one true love passed away. After Bob’s death, Sandy lived her life to honor him, and she was looking forward to the day they would be reunited in heaven. Even though their hearts are hurting, her family is comforted that Sandy and Bob are together once again.

Sandy is survived by her children: Robert (Michelle) McKellar, Jr., Terri McKellar, Kim (Ray) Bazan and Ronald (Angela) McKellar; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and her sister Cindy Cloutier as well as many other relatives. Besides her beloved husband, Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronald (Jan) Sukstas and brother-in-law Dave Cloutier.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Leisure Village Community Center: 5305 Circle Drive, Belmont, MI 49306.

Memorial donations in Sandy’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
