Shirley A. Brown

Shirley A. Brown, aged 84 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord Sunday, December 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brown. Surviving are her children and their familys, Susan (Tom) Dubicki and their children, Steve and Becky Dubicki, Anne and Brad Haney and their children, Haylie and Braylen, Kathy (Tim) Fischer and their children, Matt Fischer, Beckie Wright and her children, Eleanor, Vivian, Olivia, and Ivy, Jessica and Chris Edson and their daughter, Lily, Tom (Melisa) Brown and their children, Ruth, Ellen, Hillary Nina, and Grace Brown, Amy (Tom) Prus and their children, Ali and Emily Prus. Her sisters, Joan and Jim Jones, Caryl and Dominic Alessi, a sister-in-law, Jean Larson, many nieces and nephews. Shirley was a source of light to all who met her, and the joy of her life were the Lord and her family. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of her special caregivers for their love and support they gave to Shirley. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, 2050 Aberdeen N.E. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel.
