Stephen Nicholas Korstange, 74, passed away on August 2, 2024 at Munson Healthcare-Cadillac Hospital. He was born on March 30, 1950 to Jerry and Devonne (Denhof) Korstange. He married Suzanne Laude in 1969 and spent 37 wonderful years with her until her passing in 2006. He retired from Rapistan after 42 years. In his spare time, he loved watching car racing and spending time at the Berlin Raceway. He spent many winters in Florida and summers in Cadillac cruising Lake Cadillac on his pontoon.
Steve will be dearly missed by his mother, Devonne; his dear grandchildren, James and Karissa Hutton; brother, Alan (Mieke) Korstange; sisters-in-law, Candy (Jim) Brooks and Debbie (Mike) Skidmore; as well as, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends around the country.
He was preceded in death by: beloved wife, Susie; loving daughter, Amy; father, Jerry; brother, Mark; and in-laws, Larry and Dorothy (Zuelke-Vosburg) Laude.
In accordance with Steve's wishes, cremation will take place and inurnment will be at Fairplains Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
