Bryan Adam Pumphrey

Bryan Adam Pumphrey, 33, of Kansas City, MO. was born April 7, 1979 to Craig & Jeanine Pumphrey in Wichita, KS. He died unexpectedly Sunday, June 24, 2012. Bryan graduated from Wichita Heights High School and Wichita State University with a BS degree in Sports Administration and Marketing, currently working on his MBA at Benedictine University. His professional career was spent in the YMCA Greater Chicago area and as an Executive Director in the Kansas City Metro YMCA. He was honored to serve in the KC South Rotary Club and the South KC and Grandview Chambers. In 2000, Bryan married the love of his life, Kayme Pennington. They were blessed by the birth of their daughter, Addison Layne, in June 2007 followed by their son, Madden Thomas in April 2009. (Ryan) Johnson, and Joel (Amber), grandparents Edna Pumphrey, William (Marjorie) Mentzer, J Pumphrey, Kayme’s grandparents, parents, siblings and their families. Bryan was an amazing man who loved the Lord and adored his beautiful wife and children. Everyone who met Bryan loved him. He was a man of integrity, wit, humble service, and love. Memorial service will be 2pm Saturday, June 30, at Leawood Presbyterian Church, 2715 W. 83rd St. Leawood, KS 66206. Reception to follow.
