Mary Francis Salzman, 88, of Grandview, MO, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Westbrook Terrace in Jefferson City, MO. She was born April 10, 1922 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Darrell and Katherine Donham. She was married to Vernon S. Salzman on June 14, 1952 in Terre Haute. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, and grandmother. Mary Francis is survived by her husband, Vernon S., of Grandview, MO; four sons: Vernon C., of Decatur IL; John, of Austin, TX; William, of Saint Louis, MO; and Robert, of Taccoa, GA; a daughter, Katherine Hafner, of Jefferson City, MO; eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers: John, Richard, and James Donham . Visitation will be at McGilley and George Funeral home, Grandview, MO, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thurs., Jan. 13, with Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral will be at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church, Grandview, MO, at 10 a.m., in the morning, on Jan. 14, 2011.
