Pamela (Pam) Rauscher of Grandview, MO passed away Saturday, January 31st 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving sisters and son after a battle with cancer. Pam was 68 years old. She was born on June 1, 1957 to Geraldine (Jerry) Lamar and Jay Lamar in Kansas City. Pam grew up in Kansas City graduating from Ruskin High School. Pam is survived by her son’s Adam Day and Michael Rauscher both of Kansas City, her three sisters Kathy (Cliff) Manning of Blue Springs, Gale Lamar of Independence, Paula (Carl) Rough of Peculiar, brother Rick Lamar of Grandview, Nieces Kristie (Jason) Morton of Archie, Monica (Corey) Houston of Gladstone, Doug (Elisa) Turney of Independence and Michael (Casey) Turney of Blue Springs, along with many other nieces, nephews. Pam was a ray of light, with a larger-than-life personality with a heart for ALL people and infectious love for Jesus. Instead of mourning her death, she would want you to celebrate her life by “Choosing Joy” each day. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Heart Church KC (www.heartchurchkc.org) or “You Matter Archie” (www.youmatterarchie.com) in honor or Hunter Morton.
