

On Thursday December 29, 2022, Peter Nolasco Andrew beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He resided in Kansas City, Missouri at the time of his passing. He was 84 years old born to James and Mary Andrew on the island of Grenada, West Indies.
After completing school in Grenada, he became a police officer of the Royal Grenada Police Force and in 1967 he moved to the states and started a career as an electrician. During his lifetime Peter lived in Colorado, Florida, and then Maryland where he met and married Eastlyne, they were together for five years. They enjoyed attending Caribbean dances and events, holiday and birthday gatherings with family and quiet evenings watching television, mostly MSNBC and old westerns, they were inseparable.
When Peter retired as an electrician he started working at The Home Depot, he worked at their locations in Florida, Maryland, and Missouri, he really enjoyed that job, he was an electrician working in the electrical department. He was very much loved and respected by his coworkers and was known as Nice Guy Pete or Mr. Pete.
Peter is survived by his wife Eastlyne, sister Eva, sons Mark and Peter, stepdaughters Calotta and Toni and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 1:00 p.m. visitation, 2:00 p.m. service at McGilley & George Funeral Home, 12913 Grandview Road, Grandview, MO 64030.
The family wishes to return Peter’s ashes to Grenada and have a memorial service in Grenada, in lieu of flowers they ask that those who wish to, please make donations to the memorial fund that is being set up for that purpose.
