Terry Lynn Cramer

Terry L. Cramer, 74, passed away March 3, 2017. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Friday, March10 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with services beginning at 11AM. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart or Kidney Assoc.

Terry was born in Ottawa, KS on Aug. 10, 1942 and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a Navy veteran aboard the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier and an avid KU fan. Terry was a Vice President of Lending in the banking industry in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma for 36 years, retiring in 2004. He had served as a president of the Johnson County Girls Athletic Assoc.; was on the board of directors for the Lutheran High School; coached YMCA basketball for many years and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Max Cramer. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Cramer; 2 daughters, Christen Bassett (Peter) and Amy Clark; a sister Linna Toomey (Ed); 3 grandchildren, Andie, Alex and Sarah; 2 great grandchildren, Ali and Nate. His family wants to thank the staff and nurses at Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care for their care and compassion.
