

Wanda Faye Plumlee (King) was born on June 20, 1947 to Woodrow & Nellie Mae King in Boerne, Texas. She passed away on March 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by both her parents and one sister. Wanda received her Associates Degree in 1993 from Longview College where she was also was a part of Phi Theta Kappa Society. She received her Bachelor's degree in 2000 in Information Science and was a part of the Honor Society at Avila College. Her passion was taking RV trips with family & friends. She enjoyed camping and her marksmanship. Wanda retired from the Federal Service after more than 30 years of service. Her last tour of service was GSA in Kansas City. To cherish her memory she leaves behind her daughter, Lana Huebner and son in law, Jason along with 2 grandsons, Kavan and Brett, she also leaves her companion of 23 years, Walter Taylor. In addition, she leaves 2 nieces, Deborah and Linda as well as a nephew, Robert and a brother in law, James. She leaves a host of lifelong friends that she loved dearly.
