He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Blanche Dekker; daughter, Barbara Ellen Gardner; parents Adrian and Jennie Dekker; sister, Marie Dalebout; and brother-in-law, Richard Dalebout.
He will be remembered by his children Judith (Jerry) Prins, and Alice (Paul) Bell; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Adrian loved his country and served in the Army during WWII in the Philippines.
Visitation with relatives and friends will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 with visitation one hour prior at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Interment is at Grandville Cemetery.
