DAVIS - Alia Davis, age 8, passed away on February 23, 2017 at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in the arms of her parents, surrounded by loved ones after her second brave battle with cancer. Alia is survived by her parents Lance and Amanda Davis, as well as grandparents Jan Gerard, Mike and Wendy Hunt, Leigh Schulte, and R. Lee and Cindy Davis, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alia is also survived by great-grandmothers Charlene Gerard and Alice Davis.
Visitation for Alia will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at the Cook Funeral Home in Grandville (West building), 4235 Prairie St., SW, and from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, with a prayer service to be held at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at Cook Funeral Home – West building.
