Andris “Andy” Edgars Vaseris, age 74, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Peteris and Velta Vaseris. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 20 years, Cathy Vaseris; stepson, James (Leah Philipp) L. Dinan; sister, Ilze (Guntis) Strikis; niece, Dinara (Alvis) Brigis; great-niece, Zelda; great-nephew, Henriks; brother and sister-in-law Susan (Randy) Van Liere; sister-in-law, Joni (Jeff Davis) Smith; godmother, Anna Vaseris; cousins Gunars Vaseris, Janis Vaseris, Maris Zuika, Aldis Zuika, Eriks Vaseris, Dace Vaseris, and their families.
Born in Germany, Andy became a United States citizen on April 15, 1974. Andy proudly served his country in the United States National Guard. Andy and Cathy enjoyed traveling together, once visiting the Grand Canyon. One of their favorite places to visit is Traverse City, Michigan, which will always hold a special place in their hearts.
