Ardith J. Gorter

GORTER (Lamberts) - Ardith J Gorter, age 90, of Jenison, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harry Gorter and her four siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda (Bill) McElroy, Cheryl (Craig) Wells, and Ron (Beth) Gorter; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchild; sister-in-law, Ruth Lamberts; and many nieces and nephews. Ardith was a charter member of Fairhaven Ministries and taught Sunday School for many years. She dearly loved the Lord.

The funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday at Fairhaven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin Dr., Hudsonville, MI, with Pastor Gary Van Koevering officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin Dr., Jenison. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhaven Ministries.
