Barbara Ellen Gardner

GARDNER - Barbara Ellen Gardner, age 56, of Radcliff, KY, formerly of Grandville, MI, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2005. She was a retired Naval Reserve Hospital Corpsman First Class Petty Officer HM1 with Vietnam Era active duty and reactivated for Desert Shield/Storm.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother Caroline Blanche Dekker. She is survived by her husband Mark Andrew Gardner; her son Richard Scott Powell both of Radcliff; her father Adrian Dekker of Grandville, MI; her sisters Judith Jerry Prins of Holland, Alice Paul Bell of Wyoming; and a step daughter Christina Phelps of Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building.
