She loved the LORD and always praised his name. 
I truly believe that she had a very kind heart and a beautiful soul. 

She was so thrilled to have the family and friends acknowledge her birthday  

 Barb loves the Lord and often raised her hands during worship. 

The staff at Cherry Hill Haven were amazing and a second family.  She was so blessed to have them checking in on her, taking care of her as well as singing and sometime even praying with her. 
They were always so very kind and treated her with respect.   Thank you  
 
The nursing staff from Hospice of Michigan were also amazing checking on Barb seeing to her needs and physical and mentally praying and conversing with her until the very end with respect and dignity. 



Carolyn and Kathy got together to celebrate Barbs birthday a couple days early.  Carolyn her true friend and wonderful support system was the best- she was caring and generous with her time, attention and love - not to mention worship songs, bible readings, chocolate covered almonds and smoothies- lamps and clothes- She was there through covid and all - she brought Barb whatever she needed and reported back to Tim - Carolyn  (on left) was very much loved and appreciated by Barb and everyone else. 

We three friends of Barb got together this summer to hang out with Barb! It was a very good day for everyone and Barb said she had a lot of fun too!

We three friends of Barb (from left -Kathy, Carolyn and Bensie) all got together this summer to hang out with her - Barbs favorite place to be on a nice day!  We all had a great day with our amazing friend  Barb. 

This is Carolyn and me - we got together with her to celebrate Barb’s birthday a few days early.  Carolyn on the left- Barb’s wonderful, loyal , unwavering, dedicated and loving friend through all this -  played  Barb’s favorite worship songs and we sang and reminisced as she played short video s of friends saying Happy Birthday and that they loved her - we said prayers and talked to her and we knew she knew we were there - we told her how much we and everyone who was lucky enough to know her loved her…..

This photo was taken after Barb was laying down pretty unresponsive except she barely could say that she wanted to get up and go outside.  Which was usually her first words after Hi! Once outside she slowly perked up as we started worshiping the Lord with song and dance - then suddenly  she was vibrant and talkative Barb saying she was hungry and ate a whole bowl of chocolate ice cream after only drinking s little boost for days - it was a true miracle! I am grateful for and treasure that memory with Barb.  She was a wonderful,  giving and generous teacher - and I am witness to the Lord working through her with prayer healing to heal many people with long standing, deep emotional wounds in class.  We all were amazed by her knowledge, understanding, and caring along with a determined willingness to “be that vessel” of the Lord’s  as she often  said, and with her help we all grew closer to the Lord and loved her very much!
