Betty Carol Leavitt

LEAVITT CARLSON - Betty Carol Leavitt was born June 10, 1926 in Kalamazoo, MI and returned to her Heavenly Father, August 28th, 2008, in Byron Center, MI. She leaves behind four children, Dewey Sharon Harmon of Newaygo, Larry Sandy Harmon of Drummond Island, Carol John Reynolds of Byron Center and Mike Diane Harmon of Summerville, SC; her nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one very special neighbor Mary Luchtman.

Betty retired from the Visiting Nurse Service in 1993 where she enjoyed caring for the elderly and handicapped. She had a wonderful sense of humor that carried her through life's turmoil. She loved her family, babies, music and art.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods, 8214 Pfieffer Farms Dr., in Byron Center.
