Betty Jean Van Van Horn

Betty was a long time member of Berean Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Van Horn on February 15, 2006 and her brother, Howard Brumels.

She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her children, Paul and Judy Van Horn, Jean and Phillip Verwys, and Daniel and Jean Van Horn; grandchildren, Brian and Jennifer Van Horn, Jill and Matt Bowers, Joe Van Horn, Nathan and Andrea Verwys, Marvin Verwys, Betsy Verwys, Dana Van Horn, and Megan Van Horn; great grandchildren, Mason, Grace, Kayla, Rita, and Logan; sisters and brother, Esther Diekema, Marge Alvin Koster, and Jim Nancy Brumels; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Van Horn, Lloyd Helen Van Horn, and Lois Howard Whittemore and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 A.M. at Heritage Funeral Service, Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE, with Rev. Gordon C. Cook officiating. Interment services will be at Fairplains Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet Betty’s family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Those unable to attend the visitation or funeral service may sign the family's Memory Book at www.cookfuneralservices.com.

Betty’s family would like to thank the Christian Rest Home staff for the many years of wonderful care.
