My Grandma was the most wonderful person in the world. She was so generous and loved her family dearly and had so many friends. She was always there for anyone doing fun things or there for you when you just needed someone to talk to! 
 She played an important role in creating the person I am today. She was there for every church and school event. She got me into band and golf. Took me to Lake Macatawa for many summer weekends. She helped me through many hard times and she'd be one of the first persons I'd go to to share something wonderful. 
 I very glad I could be there for her in the end. She was my best friend. I'm going to miss her so much but I have so many wonderful memories.

Trying to find the words to discribe what my Grandma meant to me is very difficult. She has been there my whole life. The first word that comes to mind is love. She loved everybody Heart, mind, and Soul. 
 She taught me how treat others with respect. She taught me in doing this, the friends you make will last forever. She proved this over and over again. Anywhere you went with her, everyone knew Bev Scott. 
 I am proud to be her grand daughter, and I encourage everyone to take the time to tell the people who mean the most to you, you love them. 
 She always told me "Stop and smell the roses. Life is too short to let it just pass you by" I have learned time and time again she is right.
 Even though I am sad, I will take what I learned from my grandma and will carry on the light she left behind.

To Bev's immendiate and extended family and especially to Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was very instramental in my life. I remember being in Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls and Bev and Mrs Hulden were our leaders.I never forgot the kindness that she bestowed on me and my mother. I have very fond memories of the meetings spent around the dinning room table at the Scott home, or at the piano after the meetings. She was a great leader I remember she always had a smile on her face. I still have my vest with all the colored wood beads and pins. She always told me she was proud me when I did well with my projects be it selling candy or something else. I went on to be a Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader myself mostly because of Bev. My husband and I continued to live in Grandville area and I would bump into Bev off and on mostly at Craft Shows, or Garage Sales and of course the store's. Bev never changed she always asked about my mother, knowing she was never of good health, wanting to know if she could do anything for us. Bev had such a kind heart, and I feel much saddness with her passing and my condolences are heart felt.

 So sorry to hear about your mother's passing. We too lost our mother at the end of a courageous battle with her disease. It is so difficult to watch. Our walks just won't be the same without our visit to Bev and Bill's. We loved our talks and always appreciated Bev's encouragement! Even when she was going through her own health problems she seemed more concerned about encouraging me through my struggle with Parkinson's. I we will miss her dearly! But Bill...we are still here for you.

The entire Scott Family! I didn't know I could feel such a loss from a wonderful woman I hadn't seen in years. Your entire family has meant so much to me over the years, She was such a wonderful, fun loving woman! When Bill and I were in our teens and both laid up from motorcycle accidents I spent much of the summer at the Scott house with Bill. Mrs. Scott got the biggest kick out of asking me if I was hungry and when I said "Yes" she would turn to Bill and say "Bill, would you please make your friend Charlie a sandwich?" Then she would turn and wink at me. She was so important to her family, friends and community. Our loss is our Heavenly Father's gain! So sorry we could not be there this Monday evening. This disease has left me bedridden many afternoons and evenings. I have every hope of seeing everyone tomorrow at the church. Having lost my Dad just over a year ago I can certainly feel your loss. To the Scott Family, Doug and Debbie called me to today to share the news that Mrs Scott passed away and a wave of memories flooded my mind. I can remember the great friendship that Mr and Mrs Scott had with my parents, I remember going to your house as a kid after GHS football games, and I remember the warm greetings every time I would run into you around town or at the Rainbow. I am sorry that I was not able to attend the funeral and visit with the family to share my sorrow and memories with you. Memories of Mrs Scott will always bring a smile and warm feeling in my heart.
