
Brad leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 25 years, Vevadel “Viva” Dean, his sons, Joseph Bradley and Jeffrey Kenneth, and his daughter, Jane Marie. He will be greatly missed by his mother Helena Tiny, his brother and sister-in-law, Brent and BJ, his nieces and nephews, Viva’s extended family, and many friends. Brad was preceded in death by his father Kenneth.
Brad grew up in Hart, MI. Following graduation from Hart High School, Brad joined the Marine Corps, where he proudly served his country for 4 years. He worked as a sales manager for Alta Lift Truck Svc Inc. for 26 years, where with his outgoing personality and caring heart he earned the respect and loyalty of co-workers and customers.
Brad took great joy in his children and their friends, attending countless activities. Not content to watch from the sidelines, Brad learned to play soccer, snowboard and skateboard, allowing him to spend more time with Jane and Jeff. Brad supported many neighborhood and school children through coaching and encouraging words. Brad will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor and his appreciation for life.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 16 at Resurrection Life Church, 5100 Ivanrest SW. Relatives and friends may meet Brad’s family from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 on Sunday at the Cook Funeral Home in Jenison, 1889 Baldwin St. The family welcomes entries in their Memory Book online at www.cookfuneralservices.com.
In honor of Brad, contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to an educational fund for his children, Gilda’s Club or Wings of Mercy.
