Carol A. Kausch, age 61, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and devoted Christian, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, November 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Leona Kirsch. She is survived by her husband, Mark T. Kausch of Wyoming, MI; children Kevin D. (Ashley) Kausch (son Hudson) of Hudsonville, MI and Stephanie L. (Bobby) Zeichman of Rockford, MI; siblings David G. (Marge) Kirsch of Macomb Township, MI, Karen L. (Michael) Mankowski of Lexington, MI, Kathryn K. (Charles) Counts of Macomb Township, MI, Gary A. (Sandy) Kirsch of Harrison Township, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carol was an IRS tax auditor for 39 years and retired in 2017. Her family and friends were a top priority in her life and she found joy in hosting get togethers. Carol enjoyed reading, cross stitching and quilting, games and puzzles, traveling, camping, biking, kayaking, decorating and crafting for the holidays.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Cornerstone Church South Wyoming Campus, 2730 56th St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49418. There will be a luncheon following the service. The family would respectfully ask guests to wear a mask. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Carol, contributions may be made to Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MIOCA).
