Charles W. Winters

He retired from the Jenison Post Office in 2003, after 41 years of service, to spend time with his family, and was working part-time at Fairfield Inn in Holland.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Ciereman Winters, his children, Connie Ron Breimayer of Monroe, MI, Rodney Kathy Winters of Murfreesboro, TN, Carrie Tom Driesenga of Grandville, Christine Nate DeJong of Jenison. He had 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Zachary, AmberRose, Abigail, Grace and Maximilian Breimayer, Sydnie and Kelsie Driesenga, Parker and Phillip DeJong; sister Joann Shephard of Howard City, MI and brother Tom Shirley Winters of Scottville, MI.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa “papa Charlie” and friend, he will be greatly missed!

The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson, Grandville.

The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building, and 1 hour prior to Mass at Church, Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
