Charlotte Wever-Westmaas

Charlotte Wever-Westmaas, age 93, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Charlotte was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Wever; parents John and Dena Diekema; five sisters; four brothers and spouses; daughter-in-law, Jan Wever; son-in-law, Doug Groen; grandchildren Blake Wever, Melissa Groen, and Susan Groen. She will be remembered by her second husband, Marvin Westmaas; children Deanne (Fred) Diekman, Dawn Groen, James (Peggy) Wever, and Jack (Julie) Wever; stepchildren Mark (Mary) Westmaas, Ken Westmaas, Diane (Don) Rozema, Belinda (Steve) Jones, and Keith (Kimberly) Westmaas; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Charlotte was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and nana. She was very involved in the church and in family life.

Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A celebration of Charlotte’s life will commence 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024, with visitation one hour prior to service, at Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426. In honor of Charlotte and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods. Interment will be at Kent Memorial Gardens.
