She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Almy-Lucas; mother, Rose; father, Clarence; brothers Clarence and Melvin McAllister; sisters Hazel (Walter) Priest and Pat Batta.
Clara is survived by her children Mike Lucas of Moline, Russell Sage of Wayland, Bryan Sage of Lansing; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; sisters Bonnie Keever of Houston, TX, Sharron McAllister of Prescott, AZ; brother, Gordon McAllister of Traverse City, MI; nieces Kathy, Darlyn, and Rosie of Muskegon, MI; and many more loving family and friends.
