Our most sincere condolences. Heaven gained a great man. How many little kids exited the sanctuary over the years anticipating a tiny treat from "The Tic-tac Man"? Always there with a smile, a kind word, or fatherly advice. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Dan.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Gosko's family, but we all know that Mr. Gosko is with our Lord - praise God! I have known Mr. Gosko (I am sorry I can't call him Dan because he has always been Mr. Gosko to me - out of respect to him) for 35 years - ever since I was leaving on a bear hunt with Dana and Mark. He came out to the truck as we were preparing to leave and wanted to check to make sure we had everything we needed...... an hour or so later (maybe 2 hours), Dana and Mark convinced him we had everything but the kitchen sink with us in case of emergency, but if we needed the kitchen sink, they were sure we could find one in the U.P. to get us thru. That's who Mr. Gosko was - a man that was always caring and concerned for his kids. Over the years, Mr. Gosko accompanied us on several turkey hunts to Missouri and New York and it was on those trips that I really got to know him. What was important to him was faith and his family. Nothing was even close to those. The greatest thing Mr. & Mrs. Gosko did was raise eight great kids who also know the Lord! Mr. Gosko, you will missed by all those who knew you, but you truly left this world a better place because of who you were and what you stood for.

What a beautiful tribute to Dan. Over the years, as families grow, we sometimes lose touch, especially with the many in laws, but we never forget. My warmest thoughts & prayers to Ruth & family as they grieve this deep loss; truly such a good & faithful servant of God, provider & protector of family brings a Spiritual comfort & strength.
