A loving husband, a close friend, a caring man. These are all things that David DeKlyen was. More so than these, David was a true follower of Christ. With childlike love for God, David spent his life in service to spreading the gospel and spreading love to others. David had a servant's heart and always sought ways to help others. His kindness and selflessness were instinct to him. Although the loss of such a good man is painful to endure, we can all take comfort knowing that David was welcomed into Heaven with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant." David would want everyone to know that there is everlasting life through Jesus Christ. Although he may not be with us in the flesh, we rejoice knowing that David is now living with the One True God.
