Denton – David Ray Denton, age 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 29, 1933 the son of Russell and Lillie (Bischoff) Denton.
David proudly served his country as a helicopter technician in the United States Army, and he was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoying hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children Louis Denton, Patrick (Theresa) Denton, James (Bonnie) Denton, Jeff (Shari) Denton; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister Yvonne Ormiston, along with several nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
He was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife of 48 years, Janice; his parents and his brother-in-law Bruce Ormiston.
In accordance to the wishes of David, no formal services will be held. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
