David William DeVries

David will be lovingly remembered by his son Gus Faulkner; mother Betty DeVries; brother Doug DeVries, sister Sally (Jon) Kitts; his dear friend Michele Cuper; nephews Philip DeVries, Louis DeVries, Jeremy (Kelly) Kitts, Marcus (Haley) Kitts; and niece Christine DeVries.

Dave loved being a dad and was a favorite uncle. He was honored by the love and support his many friends and co-workers have offered to him and his family. Dave's work life was as co-owner of KRC Logistics. For almost 40 years he was dedicated to, and passionate about, the transportation and logistics business; and he loved all the challenges and the people involved. He made friends everywhere he went. A special thank you to all of Dave’s wonderful caregivers at Mercy Health-St. Mary’s.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with David’s family will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 and from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., S.W. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave., S.W. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park.

In honor of David, contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
