
WOLFE - Donald William Wolfe, age 64, of Byron Center, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, September 6, 2005.
He was reunited with his parents, Don and Alice Wolfe. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 23 years, Linda; his loving children, Don Karla Wolfe, Mark Amy Wolfe, Christine Bo Boyd all of Jacksonville, FL, and Jillaine Perry Silvernail of Byron Center; his beloved sisters, Donna Clare Helms and Sharon Ed Ralston Knight, of Sand Lake; 10 grandchildren; many other relatives.
Don was born in Grand Rapids on October 3, 1940.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1961. Don worked for 18 years at Interstate Motor Freight System and 18 years at American Bankers/Assurant.
Don was not only a gentleman, but he was a “gentle man.”
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.
A time for relatives and friends to meet with Don’s family will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cook Funeral Home, 2067- 84th St. SW, Byron Center.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reformed Church of Corinth, 129- 100th St. SE, Byron Center.
Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.
