Dear John and Pam Words can not express my heartfelt sympathy and sadness for you and your family during this time. I am so sorry. You are in my prayers. Some things in this life we will never understand.... Yet we must endure them. May God be with you and give you courage and strength. Dual was a good hearted kid. I remember him changing the tire for one of my employees. He just happened to have the right one with the right hub cap and all. She was so happy to be able to get home without a service call. He took care of the whole thing. She was tickled pink. I thought that was very nice of him and told him so. He just shrugged and said it was no big deal.... But I thought he was very helpful and kind.

I am saddened to hear of Dual's death. I taught him in Sunday School at Grand Rapids First when he was 5 and remember him as a quiet, well mannered boy. My heart goes out to his family and my prayers are with you.

Our family wants to extend our prayers during this difficult time. My daughter (Alaina) was a classmate of Dual. My husband (Bryan) was a Royal Ranger commander and remembers Dual when he was younger.

Pam & John, my son, Dakota, came to Duals birthday party when the boys were in preschool together. I believe it was the first birthday party Dakota went to for a school friend!!! The boys were so little. Time truly goes soooo fast. Dual was always such a happy little boy. My heart is breaking for your whole family. I am so sorry for your loss. There are really no words. I am at a loss. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear John and Pam, I dated Dual a few years ago, and we have been close ever since. I have so many memories of him and I together. I remember the first day he ever met my parents. He drove his big truck over, and put it in my driveway. Only he was so nervous that he must have put it in Neutral instead of park. His truck rolled all the way down my drive way, across the street and into my neighbors drive way. Inches away from hitting his garage. He was so embarrassed. I also remember when we took his father's truck to the Dunes and drove it around with my cousins and other family. He was so full of life. I will never forget him. He was the first person I ever truly fell in love with. I trusted him with everything I had. He meant the world to me and to know he's gone, it's brought a lot of pain. But I know he is up in Heaven looking over everyone of us and putting his hand on our shoulders to help us through this hard time. My prayers go to you and your families.

John and Pam, My heart aches for you and your entire family. Dual has been a big importance in my life for years. He was one of my few friends in high school and was honored to be able to graduate with him. I remember so much he has done for me. He could always tell when I was down and always knew how to put a smile on my face when I was crying in class. We have so many memories that Ill always cherish. I owe alot to him and I never got the chance to thank him for it. Ill miss him greatly. Everyone who has crossed paths with Dual are truly lucky. You raised a fine young man and he was loved by many. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family. Know that you are in my prayers.

Pam and John, We are so sorry we won't be able to attend the funeral as we have had a problem come up. We have experienced the loss of a Son so we know what you are going thru. It is so hard when a death comes but when it's your child it just isn't right. We as parents should go first. Only God has the answer.You remain in our prayers.
