Edna Mae Snyder

SNYDER (ROTHERMEL) Edna Mae Snyder, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was born July 25, 1918 to Charles and Mabel (Werstler) Rothermel in Logansport, IN. She was married to Fred Snyder in Logansport, on December 16, 1945. She worked for Moon & Moon Dry Cleaners in Huntington, IN. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Huntington and then First Reformed Church in Byron Center, MI. They resided in Huntington until 1991, when they moved to Byron Center. Fred died October 19, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 3 of her sisters.

Edna Mae will be lovingly remembered by her children, Suzy (Vince) Karst, Steve (Linda) Snyder; her 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; her siblings, Alberta Hitchens, Evelyn (Bob) Berkshire, Gilbert (Alice) Rothermel; and many nieces and nephews.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Edna Mae's family will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 a?" 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Cook Funeral Home. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery. In honor of Edna Mae, contributions may be made to Byron Center Christian Schools or First Reformed Church of Byron Center.
