Edwin Harry Gorter

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard, John and Bert.

Harry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Ardith Gorter Lamberts; his children, Linda Bill McElroy of Allendale, Cheryl Craig Wells of Ft. Myers, FL, Ron Beth Gorter of Jenison; his grandchildren, Heathir Steve Speet, Heidi Fred Iacovone, Ross Angie McElroy, Drew McElroy, Troy Betsy Wells, Rochelle Michael Cherniawski, Ryan Jackalyn Gorter, Amber Gorter, Derek Katie Gorter, Trevor Kerner, Merissa Kerner; his 5 great grandchildren; his sister, Evelyn Jonker; his sister-in-law, Ruth Lamberts; and his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Harry and Ardith are Charter Members of Fair Haven Ministries. Harry served as an elder and volunteered for many years there.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Harry's family will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Cook Funeral Home in Jenison, 1889 Baldwin St. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cook Funeral Home. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.

In honor of Harry, contributions may be made to Fair Haven Ministries or Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods.
