I'm so sorry to hear of Eric's death. I have many fond memories of playing in a band with him in high school days, and also enjoyed his generosity when I was passing through Denver in 1975 and he allowed me to stay at his apartment and gave me a tour of the Rocky Mountains and some favorite camping places of he and his friends. It was a great time. We lost touch after that, but I know he's safe now and had a happy, productive life. My condolences to Doug, Dean and Betty, and the rest of the family.

I enjoyed knowing Eric at Ramblewood and talking to him about flying. I became a flight attendant at another regional airline three years ago and Eric was very nice and encouraging when I was just starting out. It was nice to know another aviation person here at home and have someone to talk "shop" with. Eric was a very nice person.

I have worked at Midwest for over 20 years and I am terribly shocked and saddened by the passing of Eric! There couldn't have been a more kindhearted, sincere, considerate and generous pilot to work with! His genuine smile and caring manner was always there to greet you and was present until the moment you arrived back in Milwaukee safe and sound! God bless you and may you be at peace knowing that after getting so many people safely to their destination, it was his turn to be the passenger and I'm sure "His Heavenly Pilot" got him safely to his final destination just as Eric had done for so many others before! May your memories bring you peace and comfort!

We knew Eric thru his wonderful parents and our good friends, Betty and Dean. He had a terrific fun-loving personality which is indicative of the love with which he was raised. Too soon, he was gone. Our tho'ts and prayers are with Dean & Betty, Julie & Chris, Larry & Shelly and Doug & Barb. Eric is not 'gone' until the last person cherishing him dies - he will be with you for a long time.
