He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Dolores “Dee”; his children, Bryan Karen Herrington, Curt Karen Herrington, Rebecca Herrington, Amy Herrington, Dale Herrington, and Shawn Thatcher; his 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Casey, Jacob, Jason, Traci Herrington, Lindsey and Kelly Muller, Amanda Herrington, Nick and Emily McDuffee; his sisters, Shirley and Ruth; sister-in-law Vera Baareman.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodhaven Christian Reformed Church, with Rev. Brad Langstraat officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 4 to 6 p.m. at the Woodhaven Christian Reformed Church, 3959 68th St.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodhaven Christian Reformed Church or Byron Community Ministries.
