Fred De Young

He is survived by his daughter Joan Stalsonburg; grandchildren, Doug and Arlene Stalsonburg, Fred and Nancy Stalsonburg; great grandchildren, Steve and Jayme Stalsonburg, Dan, Josh and Marissa Stalsonburg, Sarajane and Dale Vander Maas, Amy and Ryan Aukeman; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Brookcrest Nursing Home for providing Fred with a loving home and Christian care.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday from Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Eildert Zwart and Rev. Ronald Cammenga officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home west building.
