Gar and Betty were a wonderful couple that complemented each other. They both loved the Lord and served him faithfully. We stopped by Sunset one night for a visit and he was talking of the different things that were in his room that was hers. (paintings etc.) They are again reunited and playing their music again! It was a joy and pleasure to have known them both. We went to church together with them, he was occasionally late for Sunday school and was quick to say that Betty talked to much, the class just roared!! That is what we will miss, his quick wit, he enjoyed life to its fullest. May the Lord continue to give you the strength and comfort that can only come from Him!

I Thank God for memories of Gar and Betty, all the visits and camping every year will always be my cherished memories. The games and the campfires etc. and Gar's stories and Music were just a part of him . Betty always use to say we were not only relation but also good friends. It is hard to believe that they and Bernie are no longer with us. I pray that OUR GREAT GOD will comfort and sustain you all

To Garland's family, I just want to expess my sympathy to you. I loved to hear his jokes,truck driving stories,sharing coffee time and seeing his smile.I will miss him, but I know he is in a better place.

I met Gar through the fiddler associations. He always made me smile when he played. First because he so obviously was enjoying himself and second because he was a very good fiddler. He will be remembered by many musicians especially when we are playing his Michigan Waltz. So sorry for your loss.

I have wintered at Bentsen Grove RV Park for seven years and Garland has played at our jams. WOW, what a musician. He is missed. We think of him often.

We met Betty and Gar in BG park. Betty and I enjoyed painting together. Thursday afternoon noons were special with Gar playing in the jam. We will miss them.
