Genevieve LaDuke

LaDuke, Genevieve (12/15/1915 - 4/1/2020) - At 104 years of age, Genevieve was called to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Warren and their sons Ralph and James. She was also preceded by her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She is survived by her children Sandra Roberts, Linda (Jack) Roberts, Barbara (David) VandenBerg, William (Anne) LaDuke, Robert (Rosh) LaDuke, and Susan (Orlando) Carpio; 41 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; special friend, Gijem; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Genevieve was a full-time mother and loved her job. She was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Michigan in 1951. She enjoyed spending her time at Stoney Lake, playing golf, bowling, volunteering at Kentwood Senior Center, and taking lots of pictures of family and places she went to on bus trips. She also loved her birthday and half-birthday parties.

Special thanks to the staff at American House Beechwood Manor of Jenison for their loving care.

Because of these trying times, a private burial will take place. At that time her son, James LaDuke (12/2/1957 - 3/12/2020) of Traverse City, MI will be laid to rest along with his mother. A memorial service will be announced later.
