Geraldine "Gerry" Ruth Burton

BURTON (Irwin) - Geraldine Ruth "Gerry" Burton, age 81, of Gowen, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Calvin Burton and son, Larry Burton.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sue (Tom) Kishman; grandchildren, Matt (Kate) Burton, Jill (Steve) Bly, Michael (Cheryl) Kishman, Jenny (Dustin) Becker, and Brian (Ellie) Kishman; 12 great grandchildren; and sister Pat (Bruce) Mogg. Gerry's family meant everything to her. She also loved to sing and dance and was a faithful member of the Sweet Adelines Chorus for 35 years.

The funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building). Interment will be at Spencer Mills Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville (West Building).
