Geraldine Geelhoed

GEELHOED - Geraldine Geelhoed, age 67 of Byron Center, beloved wife, loving mother, caring grandmother and great grandmother, devoted sister and friend to many went to be with her Lord Sunday, August 27, 2000.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Stebbins and her son Michael Geelhoed; brothers Bern Flier, Jason Flier and Allen Flier. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ray; her children, Mary Jerry Taylor, Tam Doug Komdeur, Pam Ron Hoekwater, Shelli Dave Lyzenga; son-in-law Jim Stebbins; daughter-in-law Nancy Geelhoed; 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rich Linda Flier, Gen Bill Wenzel, Gerrit Pat Flier Jr., Alma Russo; sisters-in-law, Cora Flier, Mary Norm Katerburg, Darlene Flier, Fanny Gerrit VanSolkema; brothers-in-law, Steward Florence Geelhood, Mart Bea Geelhoed.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Second Christian Reformed Church of Byron Center with Rev. John Gorter officiating. Interment Winchester Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home Byron Center, 2067 84th St. If you are unable to attend the visitation or service, please sign the family's memory book at www.webobit.com.
