Gladys Kay Timmer

Gladys Kay Timmer, age 76, went to be with her Lord Saturday, April 16, 2022. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Elsie Molenkamp; sister-in-law, Vicki Matthews; brother-in-law, Victor Goode; sister-in-law, Gertrude Molenkamp; brother-in-law, Alvin Zylstra; and brother-in-law, Robert Timmer. She will be remembered by her husband, Jerry Lee Timmer; children Michelle (Paul Gualdoni), Bruce (Christine) Timmer, Kyle Timmer; grandchildren Samantha Grooms, Nathan Timmer, Zachary Timmer, Micayla Timmer, and Matthew Timmer; brother, Melvin; sisters Ruth Goode and Patsy Zylstra; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She enjoyed traveling with Jerry, family and friends, reading, crossword puzzles, time with her grandchildren and her cat, Gambit.

Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 5 -7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A Celebration of Gladys’ Life will commence 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 with visitation one hour prior at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building). Pastor Scott Van Oostendorp will be officiating. In honor of Gladys and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Brain Foundation or a charity of your choice. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
