Gordon Martin, age 95, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Martin, and son, David Martin. He is survived by his children Connie (Mick) Aldridge, Susan (Donald) Crawford, Pamela (Herman) Schiebout, and Tracy (Randy) Zomerlei; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Janice and Yvonne; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gordon proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and launched many new businesses. Gordon enjoyed spending time with his family and was very generous with his time and money.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Gordon, contributions may be made to the Sunset Legacy Foundation or Emmanuel Hospice.
