Harold James Hinken

He is survived by his faithful wife of 66 years, Hester Hinken; son, Mark (Tayrn) Hinken; daughter, Mary (Tom) Holt; son, Wayne (Shirley) Hinken; son, Brian (Faith) Hinken and foster son, Randy Loper; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Lester Vandenberg Sr., several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Harold and Hester served as foster parents for 56 children for 34 years until they were 80 years old. They were also disaster response volunteers for 10 years. Harold was a wonderful husband that loved his children, grand-children and great-grand-children very much.

Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Friday, October 5, 2018 with visitation one hour prior starting at noon, at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, O-60 Port Sheldon Rd, Grandville, MI 49418. Pastor Gerry Koning will be officiating. Interment is at Grandville Cemetery.
