Helen Mae Bremmer, age 95, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. Helen was preceded by her husband of 68 years, Mervyn W. Bremmer; daughter, Deborah Bremmer; grandson, Alfred Leroy Bremmer; and great-grandchildren Zachary Wayne Brooks, Nathan Tuffelmire, Alanna Tuffelmire. She will be remembered by her sons Mervyn and Patricia (Doty) Bremmer III, Paul and Sharon (Graver) Bremmer Sr., Steven and Kathleen (Bainbridge) Bremmer Sr.; daughters Diane and Michael Schafer, Cindi and Gerry Baer; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Helen retired from H.H. Cutler after working as a seamstress.
A time for relatives and friends to visit with Helen’s family will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A celebration of Helen’s life will commence 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building). In honor of Helen and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
