Helen Elizabeth Haase

HAASE-Helen Elizabeth (Rice) Haase, born July 18, 1923 went to be with the Lord, Monday February 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Donald on February 14, 2011; her sisters Muriel Lovett, Lois Mason, Caroll Swindlehurst, and brother Elwyn Rice.

She is survived by her children Judy (Seymour) Gould, Jim (Linda) Haase, Bob (Deana) Haase, Patti (Denis) Holthof, and Jerry (Joyce) Haase; 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and sister-in-law Betty Rice. The family wishes to thank the staff at Rehoboth Assisted Living Center and Great Lakes Hospice for the tender loving care given to Mom.

The funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Homes, 2067 84th SW with Pastor Mike Ramsey officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center and again one hour prior to services Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Rehoboth AFC, Inc., 10785 Burlingame SW, Byron Center or Great Lakes Hospice, 4069 Lake Dr. SE, Grand Rapids.
